Volley AI Coach
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jeytex LLC handles information in Volley AI Coach, an AI-powered volleyball hitting analysis app.
1. Overview
Jeytex LLC (“Jeytex,” “we,” or “us”) provides Volley AI Coach (“Volley AI” or the “app”). The app lets players provide information about their volleyball goals and request personalized coaching feedback from a short hitting clip.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. We collect your email address when you create or sign in to an account. Firebase Authentication assigns an account identifier, including a Firebase user UID.
Player profile information. You may provide volleyball-related questionnaire information such as playing level, position, hitting hand, experience, goals, perceived weakness, common miss, confidence, practice frequency, access to a net or setter/partner, and seriousness or commitment. This information is associated with your account and used to personalize analysis.
Video-derived frames. When you proceed with analysis and provide the app’s AI data disclosure/consent, Volley AI extracts 10 frames from the short video you select. Those extracted frames, rather than the original video file, are sent to Jeytex’s backend for the requested analysis. The original video is not uploaded to Jeytex’s backend.
Subscription and purchase information. Stripe processes checkout and provides customer, subscription, and payment status information that Jeytex uses to manage access. Jeytex does not receive or store full payment-card numbers or security codes through the app.
Technical information. Firebase, Google Cloud Run, and our backend may process limited technical, device, request, and server information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve reliability of the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide requested AI volleyball analysis, personalize coaching feedback, manage subscriptions and access, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot service issues, and meet legal or compliance obligations where applicable.
4. AI Analysis and OpenAI
For requested analysis, extracted video frames and relevant player-profile information may be sent through the OpenAI API to generate coaching feedback. OpenAI acts as a service provider in this workflow. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may process or retain API data in accordance with its then-current API data handling and abuse-monitoring policies; we do not promise zero retention.
5. Service Providers and Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Volley AI:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, account and profile data, entitlements, backend infrastructure, and hosting through Google Cloud Run.
- OpenAI: processing extracted frames and relevant profile information to produce requested analysis.
- Stripe: hosted checkout, subscription and customer records, payment processing, and access-related status.
Jeytex does not sell personal information and, based on the current implementation, does not use Volley AI data for cross-app advertising or tracking. The app does not intentionally use advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, IDFA, location, contacts, or third-party analytics SDKs.
6. Payments
Payment card details are entered into Stripe’s checkout experience. Stripe handles payment processing, and Jeytex receives the information needed to identify the customer, subscription, and payment status. Jeytex does not receive or store full card numbers or CVV/security codes through the app.
7. Data Retention
Account and player-profile data is retained while your account is active as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account using the in-app deletion function. Some records may remain where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, payment-dispute, or regulatory obligations. Third-party providers may retain information according to their own applicable policies.
8. Account and Data Deletion
To request deletion in the app, go to Account / Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Deletion is intended to delete your Firebase Authentication account and the related Firestore player/profile and entitlement records. The backend attempts to cancel applicable Stripe subscriptions first. Stripe or Jeytex may retain transaction or customer records when required or reasonably necessary for financial, legal, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
9. Your Choices
You may decline the AI data disclosure and choose not to submit a clip for analysis. You may also choose not to provide optional information where the app permits, delete your account, or contact us with privacy questions.
10. Children
Volley AI Coach is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the app, please contact us.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No system or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security.
12. International and U.S. Processing
The initial launch of Volley AI is intended for users in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and revise the effective date when changes are made. Your continued use of Volley AI after an update means the updated policy applies to your use of the app.
